A New Era for Stroke Patients - Conference, Royal College of Physicians
Tuesday 14th October 2008
At the Royal College of Physicians, 11 St Andrews Place, Regent's Park, London NW1 4LE.
The last 12 months have seen several major developments in stroke care. The Department of Health published the National Stroke Strategy at the end of 2007 and both NICE and the College’s Intercollegiate Stroke Working Party published comprehensive new guidelines for the management of stroke in July 2008. All of these documents demand considerable changes in the way that stroke is managed and this conference addresses these recommendations and provides examples of how improvements can be implemented.
