The British Association and College of Occupational Therapists is the professional body for occupational therapy staff in the United Kingdom
As the professional body we care passionately about the profession. We are here to help and guide our members throughout their studies and careers. With so much progress and change taking place within health and social care, we understand the importance of keeping our members up to date with new developments to ensure members are confident professionals able to offer the best possible interventions to service users. We work with members to produce pertinent advice, guidance and information to support members' practice, research, careers and lifelong learning.
We are developing strong alliances and partnerships which will raise the profile and promote the value of occupational therapy
Over the next five years we are committed to ensuring that every opportunity is taken to promote the value and benefits of occupational therapy at every level. We are working to ensure the profession's rightful place in health and social care delivery. We encourage our members to play an active role as ambassadors for the profession.
